Toxin Cleansing

Tuesday, January 30th, 2007

Are you reading this?  Did you notice I said “cleansing”?  Shoot, that kind of stuff I don’t think normally sounds enjoyable.  Well, my naturopathic doctor told me that I probably have Candida.  According to most, Candida is pretty much impossible to get rid of.  I happen to disagree because I know that any ailment can be gotten rid of.  Well, apparently others agree with me.  There have been some who claim that drinking 15 drops of Grapefruit Seed Extract 3 times daily for 5 days will get rid of it.  As soon as I heard this I started on this Candida cleansing plan.

I am now 1.5 days into this plan and 15 drops taken 5 times now.  I have one more set of 15 drops for today.  I believe I am beginning to notice something happening.  Its not frightening at all, but it came as a little bit of a shock.  I know that normal cleanses often can make toxins come out through your skin.  Well I think that is happening right now to me.  I found a spot or two of what looks like some kinda goo on my hands and most of it would not come out when I washed.  I normally am very aware of what my hands touch and what touches my hands and have an aversion to things sticky or tar-like.  I would have probably noticed if I put my hands on something that had some kind of sticky grease stuff on it.

Whats this all mean?  Its GOOD!  This means that I need this cleanse and that the toxins that have been stored up in my body making me less than 100% are not being held in by the effects of the Candida.  It means they’re escaping because they have no where to hide in my body.  I guess the only thing I don’t like is the thought of possibly getting lots of this stuff on my skin making it look like I escaped from a sewer manhole.  I imagine this stuff is harder to clean off your skin than most of the worst sticky grease/tar around.  I hope it comes out eventually - sooner rather than later.

I hope by the time this is all over I feel like 200% better than ever.

A new appreciation for Story-Mode

Saturday, January 27th, 2007

I’ve come to have a whole new appreciation for single-player story-mode based 3D games lately.  Don’t get me wrong, multiplayer and MMO games are great and will keep the fun going for decades and thousands of years.  We’ll never get enough of it, yet thats just the trouble.  I find that in my ever-maturing adulthood, my responsibilities are taking up more of my time.  I don’t have the time to sit down and dedicate hours on end to playing rounds and rounds of Counter-Strike: Source with my buddies or even more time consuming MMORPGs building up my characters and empires.
