The grump of the day - 6-4-07
Monday, June 4th, 2007I have had a grump on my shoulder today. Yeah like a chip…only a grump. I’m just grumped.
Today I have wasted a bunch of time trying to figure out why I have this super annoying keyboard shortcut in windows. I press Control+Shift+Z and it pops up my apache web root folder in Explorer every single time! I’m trying to get rid of it because that shortcut is used by a plugin in Firefox to ZOOM the web page I am looking at. It won’t work of course, if this annoying shortcut is there taking me to that folder.
I think its a cool thing to have a special shortcut like that which will open custom stuff so fast, but not if I can’t change it or figure out where it came from! I must have found something that did it somewhere along the line and I never un-did it and forgot what did it. How annoying! I think its somewhere in the windows registry and I dare not go looking through there unless I have 5 weeks to spare…
The other thing I’m grumpy about is how my web sites have broken parts now that the version of PHP has been upgraded on my web host. I’m glad they made the upgrade, but I didn’t expect Wordpress to completely flip out on me. I’m going to have to upgrade each one to the latest version and that means a lot of work and maybe losing some custom stuff….GRRRRGH!
