Skype with bluetooth headset support

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

I have to say, that I am frustrated in the search for a wifi skype phone with bluetooth headset support.  It doesn’t seem to exist, and yet its one of those things you’d think “DUH, that just makes sense.”

It does just make sense, but what doesn’t make sense to me is these stupid skype phones that connect to the PC through bluetooth.  Granted, if it allows you to use MSN and Yahoo messenger and what-not, then thats a pretty nifty idea, but not worth shelling out that kind of money.  I think someone in management said to the engineers “Make us a bluetooth skype phone.” and they came up with these piece of junk phones that don’t even have support for a bluetooth headset.  That totally disses the usefulness of bluetooth technology!

Man people.  Engineers need to start using their brains when they start making bluetooth gadgets!  We really need people to innovate and make every bluetooth enabled device to support every possible bluetooth function.  Its not fair to make us buy 500 gadgets that all do separate things!

And by the way, ….when are we going to finally see a car stereo that supports being listened to via a bluetooth headset?  Also, why wouldn’t they be able to make these things also be remote controlled via a bluetooth PC or PDA, or cell phone?  I could see them having an ability to play separate radio stations or CDs or MP3’s to each individual bluetooth connected audio device.  Yes, multiple bluetooth connections.

WHEN THE HECK ARE THEY GOING TO HIRE ME TO BE THE NEXT INNOVATIVE ENGINEER ANYWAYS?!?!

So Kansas…tell me WHY?

So since I’ve been living in the “bigger than you think” state of Kansas, there have been no job opportunities whatsoever.  I mean sure, there are open positions to some extent, but the qualified people with experience are not getting those jobs apparently.  I mean, why is it that with a great resume (helped put together by the former Director of HR at Marriott no less) and a great attitude and 15 years of experience behind me, I cannot get even ONE of you places to call me back??

Ugh

Well, after several months of trying everything to make it work.  I’m saying goodbye Kansas.  You and I weren’t made for each other.  You’ll have to try to improve your economy without my help.  Without my brilliant ideas.  Without my ingenuity.  Without my great motivation and energy.  Without all of my fantastic life experience.  Do it on your own Kansas.  I’m not helpin’ u out anymore.
