New Song - The Greatest Commandments
I’ve just made a new song out of divine inspiration. This track was really fun to work on. Its been tough for me making songs before, because they weren’t fun when I worked on them as much as I’d like them to be. I would commonly struggle looking for the right melodies or riffs or rhythms. What would fit anyway? Then there’s the technical aspects of creating a recording or whatever. This time it was EASY!
I came up with part of the song a long time ago actually. The verse guitar chords I think originated from the chords of an old old song I did. I changed them up some time ago and found a whole new way of playing it. Maybe it didn’t happen like that, but I think so. Everything just totally came together last night on this track. I stayed up late getting it all put together in the computer, but it got really late so I wrapped it up almost completed when I went to sleep. I knew exactly what I was going to do with it in the morning and I got up and did just that. The whole song came very quickly…the chords first, then the words. I kind of just went with what was coming up first. I think it turned out great. I would like to probably have better vocal recordings for it though. Maybe I can find another vocalist to re-record that for me. It would be very simple to swap the vocals out with theirs.
