I’ve spent a bit of time in Seattle for Thanksgiving and seeing my brother in the hospital and going to the UW.
These were some pretty cool photos I was able to take with my iPhone.

Well I haven’t kept this updated, and I lost track of which day it was. All I know is I’ve driven on two different days now and slept 2 nights.
I felt real good getting on the road again. I got going and stopped a little rough, but i’m confident I will get the bumps smoothed out with a bit more practice.
I aim to correct myself and learn from my mistakes as quickly as I can. I am going for excellence, not complacency. Lord, You’re with me. I can do anything with my Lord Jesus Christ.
The new trainer/boss is a real breath of fresh air so far. I’m sure it won’t be totally peachy 100% of the time, it never really is I think, but this will be a good arrangement for now.
I’m riding back to Salem, IL for paperwork first, and then it’s driving time! We’ve got some strange noises in the truck, but I’m sure that God will have us find and fix the problem before it’s dangerous.
Outlook and mood today: Optimistic!
Smiley today:
I’ve finally done it. I got an iPhone and it totally rocks. I opted to get a new 3G instead of the latest 3GS phone. It’s a little sad that this phone doesn’t do video recording without being jailbroken. I suppose I’ll live though.
The Main thing is that I have one and it’s pretty dang awesome even without 3GS features. I stayed up all night getting to know this thing and getting like 30 apps for it.
One thing I still need to do is get my iTunes library copied to it. It’s rather unorganized at big at the moment, so I need to clean it up first.
I’m pretty proud of myself! I found a mouse-replacement application that uses the keyboard. It’s similar to Microsoft’s own accessibility application “Mouse Keys” which is built into windows. I hated how this application was completely cumbersome and hardly customizable.
When I found that there was a script included within the AUTOHOTKEY help files that did the very same thing only better..I instantly loved it! I can now customize any part of it even, since it’s an AUTOHOTKEY script. I’m remapping the keys so that I use the Caps Lock key instead of the Scroll Lock to activate the mouse keys. Also to use the right hand of the “home row” as the basis of my mouse keys. Now I can stay at the home row and still be productive in the GUI portion of Windows.
WOOT.
